To gild a frame you can use magic, here's the procedure: point your finger towards the object and repeat 3 times "abracadabra, hickory dickory dock, let all the gold come down in a knock". If the frame remains wooden and the Byzantine inside you still feels unexpressed, come right to the city of gold where two expert craftsmen will introduce you to the traditional techniques of gilding as they were practiced since the Middle Ages and Renaissance
