Further information
“Cinema and animation for the whole family” is an immersive journey designed for families about the story of how cinema and animation were born within the MUMEC Museum of Media Communication. The experience takes adults and children on a journey through time, starting from pre-cinema, with optical illusions, games of light and Chinese shadows, up to the first projections by the Lumière brothers. The journey continues with the birth of animation and cartoons, from their origins to the iconic characters that have marked the history of the imagination, such as the first studies on animation and the classics. The visit ends with an interactive and creative workshop with games, coloring pages, and fun activities. At each visit, a special stamp is placed on the “Little inventor’s passport”. A final gadget is expected upon completion of the second family tour, to be completed within 1 year of the first visit.
